Beowulf was one of those guys that went through a bunch of different incarnations, I think originally, I planned to paint Rock 'n Roll v2 in a Norwegian flag motif, but that didn't really come out as I planned. I think I painted him in another paint combination, but settled on this look which is inspired by the general field dress I see on most of our troops in Iraq. It came out pretty good, but he seemed to be missing something, and when a friend mentioned he pictured him with a big cobra logo on him, I knew that was it. So, there he was born, a cobra mountain marksman, mainly sent on solo winter covert missions.
