So why is Dr. Appel the only one of his series? I know we only see the Fred Series, but that always bugged me. Is he an older Fred?

I liked a lot of Larry Hama's characters that never became action figures. Dr. Venom was just freakin' awesome. Even though I hardly remember anything about this guy, and he was killed off in a really lame way, I've always wanted to make him.

The Ralph McQuarrie head looked like him enough to work. I'm still annoyed I don't have a decent enough looking white lab coat for him, but the CG Squad Leader with his his silver chest differentiates him enough from the other Siegies for me.
