Axle was once a member of the G.I.Joes. He was captured by the Dreadnoks and held hostage by them for a long while. As time went on he began to ex communicate himself from his past and decided to become a nok. They accepted him because of his knowledge and top secret info he has on the G.I.Joes and all of their technology. He uses his info to his advantage and informs and teaches fellow members of Joe vehicle weak spots and target areas. This just goes to show that the Dreadnoks are becoming more suffisticated and rely on intel rather than just winging it like usual. Proof they are more dangerous than perceived.
