War Wolf was a decorated Special Forces weapons sergeant who racked up an impressive record fighting in both Russia and China during the Third World War. Following the war he grew disillusioned with changes that were being made to the military as a whole and opted not to re-enlist, instead choosing to hire out as a mercenary under the name War Wolf. He has since seen action in the Balkans and hot spots throughout Eastern Europe, as well as areas of Asia and South America. He has also seen clandestine action on American soil, aiding the Vanguard team as they did battle with Scorpion demons that had invaded the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. His presence there at the time has been explained as personal, visiting his grandparents, who were born and raised on the reservation; some question remains, however, why he came armed for bear.

War Wolf is a childhood friend of Vanguard team member Kayla "Mother" Ironhorse and the two briefly dated in high school; this came in handy convincing War Wolf to work with instead of against Vanguard, though there was reportedly some friction between him and team XO "Doc" Kramer.

War Wolf's whereabouts since the incident are unknown but he is rumored to be somewhere in Albania or Bulgaria, likely helping to train fledgling government forces in the area.

Design Notes: It's worth noting I didn't original set out to make War Wolf; I was just swapping parts around and he sort of came together in front of me. Originally he was to have a Golden Compass Daniel Craig head (which fit perfectly) but I later opted for the Prince Caspian head, which looked good, but suffered from a too-wide neckhole (easily fixed with hot glue). The rest just came along, including the idea of making his ambidextrous and wielding dual MP5s. Overall he came out pretty well, I think.
