This figure is part of my subset of modern takes on RAH Joe recruits debuting between 1998 and 2002. I put a lot of effort into this guy. I had originally made a very different figure that was much more faithful to the original, but he was really bland. Reading his filecard, I saw that he was supposed to be decked out with tattoos, so I re-imagined him as a rockabilly lovin' greaser guy. I also changed his name to Stomper, because Thunderwing is kind of an odd name for a tanker. I've listed him under his original name for reference purposes. I must admit I like the idea of this custom/character more than the final execution, but he does add a bit of spice to the Joe ranks. Also, I like the first pic of him a lot but there were a couple of paint touch-ups needed, which I fixed for the two pics with the white background.
