I really liked the idea of Blackout as a character but wasn't so keen on his figure back in the SpyTroops era. His outfit was way too flashy and stylized for what he was: a high-acheiving sociopath whose skill at killing earned him distinction in Cobra's ranks.

So I set about making him a bit more practical while still paying homage to the original design.

I chose the Duke head because it really reminded me of Blackout's original, distinctive noggin.
