After the dismantling of the G.I. Joe Team, Snake Eyes traded in his commando gear and his characteristic visor for a simple martial artist Gi and returned to his High Sierra Dojo to begin a life of isolation. But fate brought Sean Collins into his life and Snake Eyes accepted Collins as his apprentice and began teaching him the ways of the Arashikage Ninja.

During a failed mission with the Black Ops unit known as the Hammer Team, Sean watched as Firefly detonated explosives that claimed the lives of all of his teammates. Devastated by his loss, Sean seeks out Snake Eyes to bring meaning back into his life and to learn the ways of the Arashikage Ninja. Sean is soon accepted as Snake Eyes' apprentice and one day will be known as the ninja Kamakura.

Along side Nunchuk and T'Jbang, Jinx returned to Snake Eye's High Sierra Dojo to help train and guide Sean Collins in the ways Arashikage Ninja. While Nunchuk instructed Sean in the physical aspects of the ninja and T'Jbang instructed him in the mental and spiritual aspects, Jinx teaches Sean the history and the traditions of the Arashikage Ninja Clan that she carried down from her ancestors in hope that Sean will one day began the vessel that carries on the legacy of the Arashikage Clan.
