The CPRS was created by Destro to aid him in the retrieval of "lost" (defected or captured) employees of both M.A.R.S. and his Iron Grenadier forces. Each is a fully trained Iron Grenadier and loyal employee of M.A.R.S. with their own specialities, and all are given added training in high speed driving, stealth operations, and helicopter piloting. Each member operates under a simple code name, and their real identities are kept sealed away. Trained in covert ops, the team employs non-lethal methods (Destro sees no need to inflict unnecessary casualties, particularly if it might mean revenge being sought on him) like guile, martial arts and stun weapons in their pursuit of their quarry.
