Coral
File Name: Cora Aristotle
Specialty: Mermaid (?)
Secondary: Aquakinesis
From Dr. Istanbul's notes (exerpts): "The day I met Cora is the day that I was vindicated. I knew that my life's work was not in vain. She is beautiful, powerful, and, at times, horrifying. She loves the sea, understandably, and treasures every species that dwells therein. She has a great distrust of most land dwellers, as one would expect, and yet, inexplicably, is fluent in several human languages, and appears to be somewhat familiar with human technology and politics. Regrettably, while I have managed to earn her trust, to a degree, she refuses to discuss her past, or how she has come to posses the knowledge that she has about the surface."
Re Aquakinesis: "She has never acknowledged it, but there have been times when she has shown a degree of control over the water. The extent of this ability is unknown, as is the limitations of the human parts of her body. How deep can she travel? Is she able to communicate with the other lifeforms down there? Finding the answers to these questions has been a frustrating task, and what I've learned has been a hard fought struggle. My desire to gain information has to be tempered by my desire not to offend the source of that information. I am a scientist dammit, not a diplomat."
This was one where I was waiting for my daughter to stop using the base piece FOREVER. So I've been planning it forever. I had to build a back on her once I pried Ariel's hair off, and graft on a neckball, which worked out pretty well, I think.
