History: Esteban was part of Emanuel Pasquell de Nesa del Saint the Destroyer's blood thirsty crew of buccaneers. Esteban served under Emanuel for a bloody decade, attacking weak merchant vessels and poorly defended coastal villages whenever possible. One day, all three of Emanuel's ships were swept away to the unknown by a violent storm. One ship completely vanished, the other two turned up on the coast of Western Africa. The remanants of Emanuel's crew quickly conquered a few villages, where they hoped to establish trade. After a few years of minor success Emanuel grew restless and pushed further into the depths of the mysterious dark land. He stumbled upon a forgotten civilisation. During a desperate battle Esteban was killed and carried back to the ancient city where he was brought back to life by a ju-ju negro. Centuries later he was captured by slavers to be brought by ship to America. The ship turned up on some distant shore all its crew dead or missing... All except for Esteban. He turned up on North American soil, where he eventually found his way to the deep, dank swamps of Texas...
