I wanted all of my Project Repaint figures to fit somewhere with the classic G.I. Joe line. I thought a more authentic colored Eel would be perfect for the 1995 Battle Rangers line.

I my universe, Eel's are Cobra's equivalent to the Navy SEALs - Sea, Air, and Land. The version 1 Eel makes a great sea Eel, and I use Night Vipers as land Eels. I chose to make the air Eels out of the 1992 Eels because of the "gliding" fins on the arms and legs. I had planned on making a "squirrel" suit, but never quite settled on the idea.
