Bull Snake is Cobra's Heavy Machine Gunner. He honed his fighting skills in underground fighting organizations, often leaving his opponents disabled. After several fights, he found a lack of opponents due to nobody wanting to fight him. Unable to satisfy his thirst for violence, he turned to combat and became a soldier of fortune, garnering a fearsome reputation of mass destruction with his heavy machine gun, and custom crafted mace. After several years, he took a job which found him face to face with Cobra. After decimating a platoon of vipers with his heavy machine gun, ripping a squad of B.A.T.S apart with his own hands, and breaking the bones of several Dreadnoks with his mace, Cobra called a cease fire, in which Cobra Commander himself flew in and offered him the chance to satisfy his urge for destruction, as the newest member of COBRA.

"Bull Snake is by far the scariest sight to see on the battlefield if you are a Joe. He's an absolute mountain of a man, has glowing red eyes, gigantic horns on his helmet, nicks, cuts and scrapes all over his armor. Some of my men even report smoke coming out of his nostrils. Bull Snake looks like he ascended straight from Hell. He's put several of my best men in the infirmary. Swords just scratch his armor, bullets seem to bounce right off of him, and his fists seem to be bigger than most of my unit's heads. He towers over Roadblock, outweighs both Bazooka and Major Barrage, and has tossed ol' Snake Eyes around like a ragdoll. He's been known to flip over A.W.E. Strikers with the occupants still in them, use his fists to smash through the canopies of Skystrikers, and use his horns to pierce the sides of W.H.A.L.E.'s. He might just be the most formidable Cobra Soldier we have ever run up against...Thankfully there is only one of him."
