At a young age, RAY "GLIDER" ARESTEZ was interested in heights. At two years of age, he used to climb on the couch only to jump from it in pile of pillows. At the age of 4 he climbed trees higher, than many of his elder brother's friends dared to and at age 8 he joined the National Trampoline Team to compete in the Olympics at the age of 14. During high school GLIDER started to base jump and soon after he started college he wanted to jump from higher altitudes. After after two years of service with NASA, he quit because he didn't like the weightlessness of outer space. The lack of gravity prevented him from falling down to earth. His letter of resignation consisted of just one sentence: "Without falling, what's the use jumping?"

For creating the back-up parachute, I used Blue Stuff to create a mold of Snow Serpents "parachute". I used (black) milliput to make the copy. I used the same technique for creating the pouches on his chest (from Shockwave's (v1) backpack) and the oxygen tank (Hydro Viper's (v1) backpack).

Starting off as a "desert" camo pattern, it soon developed into this almost illuminating pattern it is today: a combination of dark kaki and African Brown combined with the bronze green and black spotts.
