The hive is at the heart of Cobra-La society. The Brood Queen's hive is the oldest and most cherished of all. Even though hives are now located across the globe, only this first hive contains the ability to grow queens and royal spawn. All other hives only grow Aspidites and various drones.

Here in the Brood Queen hive new queen eggs are paired with enforcer eggs for life. If a queen dies then so goes the Enforcer.


Also within this hive, clones for Lord Golobulus and the two future leaders are ready and waiting if the need arises. The reign of Cobra-La will be eternal. The only part of social order not replaceable by cloning is the Brood Queen, and that is why she is kept so secure outside of the hive.

Hive cultivation drones, quadra ped squids, tend to the eggs and larva inside of the hive.

Hive maintenance drones, beetles, remove refuse and provide general repair of hive structures.
