File name: Knox, Abigail Lucretsia
PMF: B.A.T. R&D
SMF: Maintenance
Unofficial function: 'Mech Support'

The prodigal child between two of Cobra's deadliest minds, Abigail Knox's intellect was evident even from an early age. Wither it was building little 'friends' from scrap gathered in her father's lab or breaking code using her mothers computer terminal, her brand of mischief was beyond that of your average child. It got to the point where her parents opted to enroll her in a private school for the gifted. Even though she graduated by the age of 10, it was hardly a cakewalk. The curriculum barely managed to sate her academic needs, and the strict rules set before her were suffocating, stifling her genius. Yet she persisted... moving her way through college shortly after, majoring in Engineering and Computer Sciences. She had assured herself that things would change once she graduated, briefly trying her hand at a legitimate career, only to find herself again bound by the chains of morality, weighing down her lifelong passions, making them tedious and boring. She lasted 2 years before leaving...making her way back to one place she knew her talents wouldn't be wasted. Despite concerns from the remaining brass... and objections from her ever-paranoid father... she was brought in under probationary terms and placed her in engineering. Within a year's time she was promoted to the head of Research and Development in applied robotics.

While generally only armed with maintenance gear, in the case of her seeing actual combat she can rely on a prototype SNAKE exo-armor. Something her father insists she never leave base without.

At the age of 17, Hotwire was the youngest ranking member in Cobra's hierarchy. Some found it incomprehensible, chalking it up to nepotism, that they'd put someone with her eccentric 'tics' in charge of anything. She can be 'flighty', irritable, hyperactive at times, prone to speaking/rambling too fast for many to follow. Combine these tics with the fact that she treats the B.A.T.s like pets, and some might understand their concerns. She isn't oblivious to it, she loathes it, and it fact...it helps motivate her. She lets the sticks and stones of criticism drive her to prove them wrong, to have the priceless satisfaction of the look on their faces when she unveils her latest success (or in many cases imagine the look on their faces). She isn't that hard to please. Unlike the bulk of Cobra's ranks, Abigail's allegiance isn't motivated by greed, or an all consuming lust for power. As with her ancestors before her, she seeks an environment where she can work without restrictions, uninhibited by the pretense of morality. One that society can not provide for her.

"Well of course they need pants! Aside from being a simple, cost-effective way to keep the joints dust free, you don't want to conquer the world with naked robots!"

Things just went wrong with her from the start. The idea came easily enough... first problem came with trying to build her. I had wanted to use a PoC Covergirl body (as it looked more professional), but couldn't get a head to fit. Went with the loose Scarlett body from my attempt at another figure... only to have the paint for that one glop up horribly. I eventually had to resort to building another one by sacrificing another figure. I actually got the revamp painted and ready in a night's time, then the next day stayed up past 4pm (I work nights) taking pictures and finishing the bio. Never got a chance to fully paint her mech, only detail it.
