In response to mounting tensions during the Cold War, coupled with a rise of international terrorism, President John F. Kennedy tasked decorated war hero Joe Colton with assembling a crack unit of soldiers designed specifically to respond to the new, unconventional techniques employed by these groups. This ragtag group of soldiers and adventurers was to be kept top secret, answering directly to the President, and was given the code name G.I. Joe.

I didn't have as much time as I had hoped to to fully develop this custom, but I'm actually kind of happy with how he came out nonetheless.
