Law and his K-9 partner, Order, originally haled from London's New Scotland Yard. The distinguished pair came highly recommended by Chief Inspector Holmes for special assignment to aide the American GI Joe military contingent investigating a Cobra Empire plot. In the course of uncovering the deep roots of this conspiracy, Order was severely wounded and thought to have expired. If not for the efforts of Dr. Greer, a Harvard man, this dreadful outcome would have been most certain.

The use of war dogs has been dated back to beginnings of warfare itself. The Romans had entire formations composed of Mastiffs. Order is an extraordinary example of the traits most desired in a war dog. He has an acute sense of smell which allows him to find even trace amounts of opium or explosives. He has tracked down fleeing Cobra agents, brought them to the ground, and guarded them until his master, Law, arrived. Suspects have been known to cause themselves bodily harm rather than face the wrath of this MP and K-9. Of course, that may have to do with their interrogation technique where Order responds to Law's commands of how much pressure to apply on the suspect's throat with his fangs.

Law is inspired by a British bobby. Order started off as all robot, but the more I started working with the parts the more he ended up looking like he was cobbled together. The cyborg dog seemed more Steampunk then the original design.
