Believe it or not, it wasn't a given that Dwight Fardie would join the military, much less serve with GI Joe. His parents, Crosshair and Bombstrike, were just as surprised as anybody when their boy turned down scholarships to Stanford and MIT to go to West Point Army Academy. His uncle Barrel Roll couldn't have been happier.
Under their tutelage, Barrel Site was stalking wild game at age 10, started winning marksmanship competitions by 12, and was going on week long excursions into the woods by himself at 13. He is a natural sniper; patient, calm, quick reflexes, and 30/10 eye sight.
Wearing an active optical camo suit that projects his surroundings on a specially woven OLED* fabric, Barrel Site is undetectable even to the most sophisticated night vision and infrared systems. That is why he attached a scope with spacial recognition programming that detects movement up to .001 mm/hour. His 50 caliber semi-automatic rifle can be remote activated by voice command which means he doesn't even have to be in the same country to double tap the bullseye. It also has the full spectrum of vision enhancements.

This whole custom was built around the digital projection camo system. That isn't a photoshop. I took a picture of the spot without the figure there and then printed it out on Kodak photo paper. I cut it so the paper looked like a poncho. Then put the figure in the same spot where I took the first picture.
