The Joes might have given Destro's updated version of the Battle Android Trooper a cute name, but the jest is most likely due to the reality that this incarnation of the BAT is the deadliest ever. It is bigger. It is smarter. It has heavier armor capable of withstanding anything short of a tank busting round. It has none of the weak spots of the previous models. Because it is a M.A.R.S. product it also comes with a frightening array of weapons such as armor piercing 2 stage missiles, short range laser, flame thrower, Grenade launcher, 50 cal. SAW, not to mention a fighter jet's worth of the top of the line targeting and threat identification systems. They pulled no punches and spared no expense with these bad boys.

I've been wanting to use one of those Visionary figures for a BAT for a very long time. I was going to use that Steel head for a removable mask Destro, but it would have been way to big on the average torso. When I put the two together it was a perfect match. The torso is big enough that I was able to finally use a light set up I've been waiting to use. Remember kids, check to see if the batteries need to be changed before doing any rewiring.
