The Piranha 2 design takes the fast attack element of its predecessor to a whole new level. The overall hull design is sleeker and more aerodynamic. Gone are any excess weapons or support systems that would slow it down. The Piranha 2 is now armed with a new high caliber laser lock-on sighted machine gun and two heat-seeking sonar guided high explosive torpedoes. The original boat jet engine has been replaced by the Rolls-Royce F136, the same engine that will be used on the F-35 joint fighter. There have been rumors that it is capable of reaching top speeds of 420 miles per hour but no one has lived long enough to confirm these reports.

I've like the Mortal Kombat version of the Piranha for quite some time. When this project won I knew I had to make it using the Chap Mei version of the boat. I used a stencil for the piranha symbol and number 2 on the sides. This was my first time using this approach ona vehicle.
