The holster comes from a Wal-Mart exclusive desert camo Roadblock and the belt is from a BBI figure. The lieutenant's bars were cut from a miscellaneous piece of silver plastic.
The "lab coat" was kit bashed at the last minute after one I got from Cap was rendered temporarily unusable by my clumsy attempt to put it on the figure (I'm going to fix it, though). This one used to be a Killuminati winter coat.
The gun came with the latest wave of VvV figures (not sure which). The briefcase was Salvo's (modded with a length of rubber hose). The clipboard was modified from a dollhouse-scaled accessory. The laptop came with VvV Dr. Mindbender. The frequency generator is a Killuminati molded computer component with a Tele-Viper transmitter attached.
"Sigmund," the big white rat on Psyche-Out's shoulder, was provided by Cap. I was looking for a clever looking and bigger-than-average lab rat for Psyche-Out to sort of fixate on. He's become much more than a test subject and, essentially, a pet for the Joe's resident head shrinker.
"Skinner," the little gray mouse in the maze table, was a dollhouse accessory. Originally the maze was going to be for Sigmund, but he was too big. So Skinner became the third wheel on this habitrail.
The maze itself started life as a cheap party game puzzle and a Playmobil table. I used a suction cup from the back of a bathroom mirror to connect the two and make the table more the appropriate height.
There is also a "venomized" version of Sigmund, which Cap was good enough to send along as well, but I am saving that for a plotline where Psyche-Out's rat falls into the evil hands of Dr. Mindbender.
[Insert evil laughter here.]
I decided to take an unorthodox path with this group project, not just because I thought it would be creatively challenging, but because I needed this particular character for my Joeverse.
