Dr. Walker has dedicated his life to correcting battlefield injuries suffered by Cobra troops. From top rate plastic surgery to the design, fitting, and attachment of high tech prosthetic replacement parts, Scalpel is a miracle worker. While not as comfortable on the battlefield as in the OR, there is no doubt of his bravery or dedication to his fellow team members. In fact, a large portion of injured combatants treated by Scalpel have returned to service with no noticeable deterioration in ability. Of course his primary duties have been to alleviate the pain caused by deformity stemming from major injury, it is said he wields his scalpel like an artist his brush.

Scalpel spends his down time treating children and the elderly, in what he calls "giving back to the community."
