Scalpel was born into a well to do familiy his father a Major General in the army and his mother a nurse, he was raised learning the art of war from his visits with father and St. Geroge Military School for Young Men where he attended. On one such holiday he and his mother were ahead of schedule and found Maj Scalpel in bed with a prostitute- this gave Mrs. Scalpel the vapors until death a few years later. On her death bead she begged her son to become a physician, which he did to the disgust of his now estranged father. Making asmall name for himself as a surgeon, the Dr. lead a double life killing the immorals that littered the streets at night, that no one elsed seem to care enough about to stop, thus making him a prime candiate for Cobra Commander to recurit.
