History: When she was a baby, the woman who would become Angela Walker was abandoned on a church doorstep in Windsor, Vermont. Raised by the nuns there, Angela became deeply devoted to her faith. At thirteen, Angela's mutations manifested for the first time. Scared and confused by what was happening to her, Angela ran off into the night. The head priest found her and explained to her that what she was going through was not punishment, but a gift from God and that she must use her powers to help those in need.

Angela possesses a pair of large, avian wings that allow her to fly for long distances. Her bones are hollow to better accommodate this ability. Later on she developed the ability to generate a powerful golden light used to blind her enemies. With a great deal of concentration, Angela can focus this light into either bladed weapons or projectiles, though to do so weakens her severely for some time.
