Shore-Leave
Real Name: McHale, Robert S.
Branch: US Navy
Rank: Petty Officer 3rd Class
MOS: Supply and Acquisitions

Robert McHale always had a way with people. After graduating from high school, where he was voted the most popular, he joined the Navy to see the world. He was assigned to a support ship where the crew quickly found out he had a way of getting whatever he wanted. He even got his Captain to agree to giving him a 24 hour pass in Fiji once. Nobody could get him to tell how he pulled it off and he earned the nick name Shore-Leave.

On a special assignment, Shipwreck just so happened to be catching a ride on the very same support ship. When he requested certain items for his mission, the Captain sent him in Shore-Leave's direction. Sitting in a beach chair and drinking a daiquiri, Shore-Leave nodded as Shipwreck went through his list. Within minutes Shipwreck had everything he needed. If there is one thing a ship needs it is a man who can get you what you need whenever you need it. When Shipwreck returned, he contacted Admiral Keel-Haul and requested Shore-Leave's immediate transfer to the USS Flagg. With Shipwreck's guidance Shore-Leave was able to become the highly decorated Navy man he is today. Many operations would not have been successful if not for his special abilities.

This custom started out as my attempt to redo the Chuckles/Shipwreck MOTH set. I ended up with a custom that was a little bit of both, but not really what I wanted for either. Once I came up with the codename the character kind of fell into place. Then it was all about giving him as much removable gear so he could go into just about any type of situation. I've done tattoos in the past but I'm really proud of these. The Chinese one is the symbol for good luck, which I figure this guy would have. The anchor and mermaid were obvious Naval tattoos, while the Mom one was just something fun I wanted to try. I painted the heart and then using a dental pick I scratched "MOM" into it.
