SILENT NIGHT was among the legions of Iron Grenadiers that always got decimated by G.I.Joe ninjas. He then decided to pursue the silent arts to be able to face the ninjas head-on, and his determination led to his being adept with silent weapons. He came into DESTRO's notice when he went one-on-one with SNAKE-EYES. Though he lost the battle, DESTRO saw potential enough to move up his rank and have him have his own operative codename, and even supported SILENT NIGHT with more training.

This was one of my earliest LBCs that was forever laying in my customs pending box. I just didn't know what to do with it. Although it always had the SILENT NIGHT codename even then. This group project gave me a chance to revisit my customs pending box, and I picked this one to use, and made slight paint/repaint modifications on it. I wasn't satisfied until I equipped him with these accessories, at which time I realized that's what I imagined him to be. I kept changing the name from Silent Night to Silent Knight back and forth, but in the end decided to stick with the original idea.
