Born to a waitress and a father who left before he was born, Sting spent much of his life fending for himself. He earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do from a Korean expat who ran his school out of the garage at a junkyard and spent time working in a regional wrestling promotion as well as as a Sheriff's Deputy. He came to the attention of G.I. Joe after putting two of the Dreadheads in the hospital for sideswiping his car. He was recruited for the Renegades by Sgt. Slaughter after escaping police custody, driving a tractor through the side of the barn the remaining Dreadheads were holed up in, and using their own Thermite to destroy the weapons they were planning to sell. Worked with the G.I. Joe team directly for Operation: Tiger Strike, but is tasked as the Renegades silent weapons expert as well as the team's mechanic/driver.

"His name? Oh, we gave him that because of that thing he carries. It's a pipe he welded some nails to, made it in high school he says. Calls it "The Stinger". So yeah, the Renegades are just his speed."

The toughest part of this one was the head. It's just so distinct. You can use it for Outback and Chuck Norris, but beyond that it needs mods. I'm not sure that shaving the beard into a mustache make him look less like Chuck, but he looks less like Outback at least. Beyond that it was just finding a way to blend the armored torso with the ninja legs. Adding armor to the the limbs seemed like the best option there. I've long wanted to do customs of the characters from the Find Your Fate books (which I should also actually find and read someday). Sting was the main character of Operation: Tiger Strike, and since his sole descriptor was martial artist, he at least fit the look I started from.
