The Tiger Lift is a captured Cobra F.A.N.G. I (Fully Enclosed, All-Weather,Negator Gyrocopter Improved)
During the height of its occupation of Cobra Island, Cobra R and D produced quite a few coastal patrol and maritime interdiction craft, the FANG-I was one of the better ones. Using the existing FANG, the body was extended and enclosed, more power engines added, and new armament added. Enclosing the entire thing provided all-weather capability. Its primary armament is the pair of 30mm Gatling guns, capable of shredding most small craft. It packs a pair of ship killing torpedoes for larger work and a pair of anti aircraft missiles for dog fighting. Gyrocopters have taken to calling the bird the "mini-mamba". One day out of the blue, Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow come in for a hot landing at a small Joe base on the Gulf of Mexico. What they were doing (this time, they go there a lot it seems) on Cobra Island is still unclear, but Recondo and Wild Bill thought the captured bird would look good with Tiger Stripes on it.

This custom was a last minute addition to the GP. It has been on the drawing board as a cobra vehicle for a while. TF Flint (Flint head and Ace body) was going to pilot it, but I ran out of time and never got to paint him. I am still not happy with the undercarriage, I think I might go for retractable landing gear when I convert it back to Cobra colors. My loving wife stayed up with me until after midnight painting tiger stripes and applying teeth. God I love that woman.
