The Wadjet is a single mission insertion craft. From its carbon fiber supports, anti-night vision mesh wings, Pythonized radar absorbing paint, and kinetic pulse powered propellor, it is built to avoid detection while flying over enemy airspace. The Wadjet gets its callsign from the Egyptian goddess, often depicted as a cobra with wings. While stealth is its primary design feature, it is armed with a 25mm cannon with armor piercing rounds, as well, as air to surface "smart bombs".
While looking for something else at work, I found a stash of old styrofoam plates leftover from a baby shower we threw years ago. I took some home with the plan to eventually do something with them. While looking up plans for a completely different idea for this project I came across a bunch of prepellor driven hang glider ultralight aricraft. I filed the idea away for use later. Again, I planned on something completely different, but the more I geared up for that project, the less excited I was about it, and the more focused/obsessed I became with the Ultralight project.
