The Search for the Serpent King's Temple
Legend has it that 3000 years ago a magnificent city dominated the Amazon River delta. Its citizens created art, literature, advanced Mathematics and worshipped Quetxopalal the Serpent God. Jealous and fearful of their advanced brethren, neighbouring cities united to attack the magnificent city. Despite the valiant efforts of the King's elite Serpent Warriors, the city was destroyed, but not before some of its citizens escaped with its riches to the King's secret temple...
The King's Temple has remained lost for 3000 years. Now, the legendary adventurer Joseph Colton and his team have travelled to the Amazon to find the lost treasure of the Serpent City. With the promise of finding riches and ancient scrolls and artefacts, Colton sets off for The Search for the Serpent King's Temple.
My first attempt at building a dio, the temple was, by far, the most time-consuming part of this project. It allowed me to learn to sculpt in foam and use materials that I would not normally use in customizing figures.
Not visible in the pics is the back of the temple. It consists of two rooms:
- the King's Statue room with all the treasure
- the library archive with scrolls and parchement
Unfortunately, I ran out of time to properly finish these rooms before the deadline. I plan to complete them in the next few weeks.
