Want to mention that this was just posted on Facebook by a Richard Eiji Kapoi. His pic is below...

You can hang your Viper Gliders and newer CLAWS on the side of the doors with the bumps (non gun panels),

You never know the designers were really detailed back then. Look at all the spots on the HQ where the wheels of the vehicles fit.
