Reminds me of Transformers Devastation. You choose your character and you run around and blow stuff up.
Simple, but fun.

With a bit of the War for Cybertron games too, right? With being able to play as both sides.

My hope is that we get new characters skins/models and it is isn't just a micro transaction hellscape.

I miss the days of secrets and unlocks instead of pay to play. Still, Battlefront II pivoted away from that model and provided a lot of free content. There's some hope for not all games putting all the "extra" content behind a pay wall.

The footage I saw was almost exclusively the revealed Classified figure designs... I'm wondering what exactly the characters are going to be fighting against, hope even if they aren't playable there are a lot more designs in the game than what we've seen.

I suspect that there will be a lot of androids.
You can shoot robots, fun for the whole family as it's not as violent as shooting troopers.
