Can't believe this is the only Flood fig we've seen in recent years. Hell - did they even have any Flood with the McFarlane line? I don't remember any.

And it's to the point where I've got as many Jazzwares 4" figs & vehicles as I do brittle-ass McFarlane 5" figs & vehciles- time to do a purge (except for the Hunters - those are still in good shape).

Yeah, these are just so much fun. And 1000% sturdier than the McFarlane stuff (except for the broken arm on my Elite Ultra )

Wish the brutes & elites were a tad bit bigger, though. I'm not a fan of the human figs, since they're so underscaled compared to "regular" humans in similar lines (MTF, Joes, etc).

Still - really liking what we're getting so far. Hoping for a Banshee/Wasp/Scorpion in the near future, but I doubt it.

Got the Banished checkpoint set today. I am.... whelmed? It's not bad, but it's not super-great, either.

Amazon reviews on this set are pretty bad - mostly around QC issues and body parts snapping off right out of the package. The Spartan's ankle joints are poorly designed, so I'd recommend soaking the legs in boiling water for a little bit before trying to move the joints. Same with the Brute's elbows.



The actual set is ok - the Covvie weapons rack only holds 3 of the several weapons that came with the set - they need to have pegs on the side and few of them do. I'll try later on to find other weapons from previous sets/figs to see how they fit. But it's decent dio fodder, I guess.

Nostalgic Adam interviewed some folks from the Jazwares team on Youtube last week, they mentioned that Wave 5 (with Sgt Johnson, ODST, etc) should be available in stores in the spring, specifically mentioned Fred Meyer, Meijer, Walgreens and HEB as the stores they would be at.
