I don't think I'd mind if it was further down the line. Like at the end.

For the past few years a lot of people have [LASER BLAST], including me, that there have been too many repaints. And now that Hasbro has listened, I don't want them going back to the old way again.

The "every-so-often" repaint, I don't mind. If they work a Tiger Force figure in every couple of waves, I've got no problem with that. Nor do I mind a Python repaint or any other subset repaint from time to time. It's when we see whole waves of repaints that it starts getting frustrating.

Mass repaints, to me, should come towards the end of the line after general interest has died down and the only people really collecting them anymore are hardcore Joe fans.

For right now, I think the variety in characters and the variety in versions of characters is one of the most exciting things about the line. Let Hasbro build up a nice big stockpile of different molds before they start hitting us with an onslaught of repaints. At least by then, there will be so many molds to choose from that the repaints can at least be "franken-repaints" instead of just the same figure in a different color scheme.

They went the Franken-repaint route with quite a few figures in recent TRU 6 packs, and it produced quite a few gems, such as Desert Patrol Stalker, Winter Ops SE, or the Cobra Imperial Guard. Yeah, there were some stinkers in the bunch too, but like I said, repaints are for the end of the line.

No interest in Python Patrol, at all.

Not 5-packs, not singles, not vehicles, none of it.
I also hated the repainted sub-groups back when they first put them out, and I have not warmed up to them at all in the past 20 years.

Meh, pass.

I'd rather have the original 13, and new characters rather than these.

I would go for one if they did it like the Night Watch pack. Have one "trooper" and four "officers" so it would match my Night Watch and Blueshirts squads (one officer and five troopers). Granted that means I would have to pick up an extra PP "officer" off ebay but that would be cheaper than getting another pack.

A PP 5-pack is welcome, but only in 3-3/4, ARAH molds and with the first PP colour-scheme (yellow/green, grey/black and red). I'd like to see repaints of:

- Gnawgahyde
- Range Viper
- Toxo Viper
- Night Viper
- Incinerators

Or otherwise the existing 5-pack done in original PP colours.

I would be psyched if they rolled out with a Python 5 or 6 pack. And I would load up on it!!

ABSOLUTELY!!!

Start with a 5 pack of the original lineup (Trooper, Officer, CG, Tele-Viper, Viper) in their original colors plus a single carded Copperhead.

Follow it up with a second 5-pack featuring Snow Serpent, BAT, Eel, HISS Driver, Iron Grenadier (Hey it was used by Darklon!).

I love Python Patrol. Love, love, LOVE it!

well the flint is in package or prison cuz I buy 1 to open and 1 to save but I didn't feel this wave was worth my extra $$ to buy 2 of these for the most part so he'll be a collectors item for me.

I wouldn't mind if sub-groups were gone completely.

GIjoe vs. Cobra... not Tiger Force vs. Python Patrol.

First anniversary 5 pack I'd buy.

I love Python Patrol.

Give me an Officer, a Soldier, a Crimson Guardsmen, a Copperhead and a Major Bludd.

Exactly.

I doubt I'd buy a Python pack. I'm not crazy about Python or Tiger Force, but there are some repaints I have scattered in my collection. ;-) (first JoeCustom use of emoticon)

I'm going to get a few of the upcoming officers and a Flint, but that's all I think I'd get (but, I might get a reverse 5 pack- One officer, 4 troopers [really officers])

Maybe get a Televiper, maybe a Copperhead. Don't need a CG. Always hated the Viper.

Night Force on the other hand, makes most figures better.

Single packs would be fine.
