ModEdit: I just added a poll to the thread -- I'm interested to see what everyone's over-all opinion is (and if it changes) so I made re-voting possible -

I would have thought the crimson guard torso would be the way they went on Interrogator

I would love to but they are out of my price range for now. I have to be content with bi, corps, chap me I, and hopefully the toysrus figures. Thenof course what I find at yard sales and flea markets. Unfortunately vehicle trouble has really cut into my buying. Oh thank you dodge for building crappy trucks...transmission replacement.....$1500.00. There goes my hobby money for a nice long while.

There's a few I want, but I am in no position to afford the entire subscription. So I went with "No, but I'll be picking up select figures on the secondary market" -- I HOPE!

Interrogator -- precisely whose torso is that? I don't recognize it. And it's not an especially good fit with the character if they're trying to come up with something that matched the original.

Outback -- pretty good, really. The tiger face is certainly accurate, but honestly, I thought the original was a little plain, and I actually customized mine a bit (yeah, you heard me -- I customized a European figure). Enhanced the eyes and the teeth a bit. But I can understand the Club wanting to match the original, of course.

The Interrogator torso comes from the Retaliation Wave 1 Cobra Commander, and the arms and legs appear to be from POC Destro/Iron Grenadier. The terrible web gear is from the ROC MARS Trooper/Desert-Viper, though it has been modded to have a knife holster instead of the grenades.

At this point, my poll answer is plain old No. It's hard to believe that with this lineup, the Club so far hasn't made one must-have figure. In fact, I'd say that Pathfinder is really the only one so far that I think they did as good a job as they could have done, yet that figure still feels a bit meh to me. Law was close and is acceptable as is, but they still could have used more accurate legs. I can accept a few odd parts choices here and there, but really the entire lineup just feels like minimal effort was put into design. For what little new tooling they are providing, it seems like they are making puzzling choices as to where that budget is applied. Seriously, was there anyone demanding that the Inferno BAT needed the long blade attachment? Why go through the trouble of commissioning a new Outback head that doesn't appear to be a big improvement over the existing one and doesn't make up for the outdated build they are using? As expensive as these figures are, I'd like to at least see competent builds. Between the lackluster convention set and this lineup, the Club has

If Billy doesn't suck, I will probably try to get him on the secondary market. I would still like a carded Law if only to get one signed by Kirk Bozigian, but I'm ok with customizing my own figure using my spare 30th Law.

Thus far, I do not care for any of the figures and don't see myself spending the money even though I sprang for the club membership.

That is the way I'm going for a custom version. I'm using a Dollar General Cobra Commander.

Its a headband, like the ARAH figure. Probably the same mold as the JoeCon Brawler headband.
