dang, why is the MU Blade so 'spensive on the secondary market? Was he short shipped or something?

I think it's becouse he only got one figure made of him, i don't remember him being short packed, when his wave hit i got 3 of them, but traded the others off for other figures.

It's probably because he was released a few years ago, and I don't recall any re-releases of him. And like Jbyrdd said, they never made any other versions of him.

While a lot of older figures have been added to newer cases, their prices on the secondary market have dropped, because they have been available again from time to time.

Since he hasn't been added to new cases, his prices have stayed higher, because he has been unavailable since the original stock sold through.

The figure is ok. Not great, but not the worst in the line. It definitely isn't worth the prices people have him listed for on eBay though. At least I don't think so.

Found A-Bomb and Abomination at TRU today. They also had a gray repraint of the new Hulk figure.

Got notification today that my wave 5 hit my POL at BBTS.
Wasn't really expecting them this soon. Still haven't seen any of them on ebay.

Not sure if I am going to keep the figures in my POL or cancel my order.
I kind of want Omega Red, Black Knight, and the Alpha Flight members, but the BBTS price is really steep (and I'd only get one AF member, stupid "running change" idea). According to them the new figures are only 1 per case each.

Still not sure I want any of them that badly.
Might kick myself later though if they end up being omg-uber hard to get ahold of.

These are supposedly the last Marvel Universe figures coming out. Everything after this will most likely be tied to the Avengers cartoon line or movie licenses. Considering the full case assortment, I think tracking these down afterwards or at retail will be exhausting.

I would love to get these. I did not see them on Pre-Order. Even with the filler figures, I think this could still be a good case to have.

I haven't seen any new MU figs in the wild for months now, so when I saw the pegs re-stocked at Target, it was a surprise. Mostly Spider-Man on the pegs and some weird Tron-deco of Iron-Man that's labelled as 'deep space armor'. I'm a sucker for anything Tron-related, so it was an impulse buy. The articulation and paint-job is great, although I'm not a fan of the rubbery joints. The legs feel like they'll buckle at the knees since it can't support it's own weight. Oh yeah, it rang up as $11.79. I kinda miss buying figs for $9.99 all of a sudden

I was just at a Target that lowered their price to $9.89. They only had the revision wave with Nova though.

Yeah, that was kind of my thinking too. Aside from the horrible case pack ratio, Hasbro's 'final waves' are typically a pain in the ass to get.

I actually like this last wave (even thought it means Aurora will probably be impossible to get at a reasonable price.)
I'm glad I cherry picked the last few waves so actually the only duplicate figure I am getting is ultimate Spiderman which is good for custom fodder.
