But is it "no plans to ship" or is it "no plan to order?" One is a Hasbro issue the other is the retailers decision.

Toy companies generally don't make stuff that hasn't been ordered by a retailer. Or have you forgotten the entire point of Toy Fair?

I thought that was to show us all the stuff that will never show up in my area, leading to collecting frustration, curses directed at the distribution, and general rants on online forums?

Saw the Rhino wave at TRU in Burbank. Cloak, Mysterio and a couple Rhinos on pegs with a mix of whatever else is in that wave (Nova, Colossus and a couple others I can't recall). Didn't pick any up though. If they are that plentiful in that scalper hunted store they'll be plentiful most everywhere else.

...no?

I don't understand your point. Toy Fair is to show product to potential buyers.

Hasbro doesn't produce stuff the retailers don't order. They don't produce stuff and let it sit in warehouses waiting to be ordered. They do, however, get screwed by retailers that change their minds or reschedule when they want stuff to arrive to their distro-centers.

I found the X-Men six pack for $10 and change today at TRU. So glad I never bought it before. What a deal. And the Johnstown TRU has three full pegs of MU, with Black Knight, Abominations, Cloak/Dagger, etc. Would have been great if they stocked that well when the line still existed.

Hey guys, I was wondering about the new female buck. Do the upper arms heat up and pop off from the torso or do they have the internal swivel that needs to have the torso cracked? The upper torso doesn't seem to have a seam to crack, but the shoulder joint seems pretty fragile to be pulling on. Thanks

I cracked the old female buck last night and found they have the internal swivel. I cut off the elbow joint and hoping to dremmel a hole for joe style elbow pegs.

As you noted in the second post, the OLD buck has to be split open to get the arms out. Also, you're doing exactly what I do, to add the elbow swivel to those arms.

The NEW buck though - despite it's many flaws - is injection molded, meaning you can boil and pop the shoulder and the elbow both. Even the upper torso from the lower.

If I remember though, the shoulder peg still has enough meat on it you can use it on other figures too, with only slight modding. There's a chance I'm wrong on that last point, but it is my memory.

Some of the older Star Wars arms and hands also fit nicely with the that newer MU female buck torso. I may detest the legs, as they are far too long, but the torso has some merit. I just recreated the "Dark Woman" figure using a mix of MU and from her original figure, and now she is far more posable than she was from the comic pack.

I have had some store information on some upcoming Marvel Infinite figures for a couple of weeks now, and I've been waiting for someone else to post this, but so far nothing. So I guess I'll "decloak" from lurking.

This is store information, complete with UPCs, so I'm hoping that this will all prove to be true since all except for the new Spider-man figure are pretty essential for a real Marvel collection. But, I don't work for Hasbro and have no connection with their company, so I can't verify further.

There will be two more Marvel Universe figures getting repacked:
B0713 Daredevil UPC 63050928474
B0712 Hawkeye UPC 63050928475

Then there are seven new figures, two of which are variants (as in Blastaar and "blasting" Blastaar).

One of the new figures is yet another Spider-man:
B0706 Big Time Spider-man UPC 63050928481

Okay, here's the thing -- I really don't have any more faith in Hasbro than most of the rest of you. I'm not expecting them to show much of anything for 3.75 Marvel Infinite at SDCC. In fact this wave that I have the scoop on may be it, the way things have been lately, so I don't want to spoil the "big reveal."

One of the new figures is, finally,
B0710 Blue Beast UPC 63050928477
with a variant B0711 Grey Beast UPC 63050928476.

That leaves three more figures (four if you include the variant of one of those three) that I'll let someone else reveal. One is X-men related, the other two are part of the Spidey-verse.

OK...
This was posted on July 3rd over at Marvelousnews.
- Apparently Hasbro may be getting new UPC codes for their items. (perhaps that's why stores don't have many Hasbro items in stock?)
- Found out the guy's list comes from Walmart computers.
- The guy is being a jerk and holding on to the other 3 names so "he won't spoil any Hasbro surprises at SDCC".
- We know how Walmart lists are. We never get everything on them.
