Since movie lines tend to clog the pegs and move only on clearance, I guess the smaller size was the next logical move after cutting the articulation level.
The GoTG line must have sold well for them to maintain the 2.5" scale...

The Marvel Infinite 4" figures don't look too bad, though I'm guessing that's because many of the new-ish reveals are of figures planned for the MU line. Doc Ock looks much better here, Vulture is good and probably a figure I don't mind having the lesser articulation, Shanna looks good even if the hair isn't great, and Northstar, Thunderstrike, and Ultimate Spider-Man are good. I have no real interest in the Juggernaut Colossus (no connection to that version of the character) or 90's armored Daredevil (likewise), but they both look fine for what they are.

I don't really mind the Avengers 2 line being 2.5" in scale. It's not like there was a ton of things I wanted from the previous Avengers line, and I doubt there will be much I would want from this movie either.

The 2.5" GotG line isn't really selling much around here. I guess that means no 4" line for that movie, like GotG, huh? Bummer. Wanted a Quicksilver, Vision and Scarlet Witch at least.

As for the new reveals--something looks really off with Daredevil, which is a shame, because I love that costume. The lack of articulation is throwing me off on some of them, even though I was never a huge fan of the midtorso joint.

It looks as if DD doesn't even get wrist articulation. At first look you would think he would have it at the bracers but he doesn't.

That Shanna hairstyle is all wrong.

Oh Hasbro!

Yeah, but it's going to make for an easy Dr. Who Leela custom!

Korg! I need to own that figure. I can't believe a 4" Chameleon is being made before a 6" one. Besides those two, yeah, it's kind of a lame wave. Unless Ultron is movie inspired and Emma is an amazing figure (that ain't gonna happen), those are the only two I'd be interested in.

Anyone want to bet that Korg is a Thing with a new head and some armor bits/loincloth secondaries added and some repurposed weapons?
