yeah, he gets some sort of powerup in the show, but its just a recolor of that costume with a different weapon. He's the only one I can think of for the chase since none of the other riders have color changes and I doubt they'd use a new mold for the chase figure. Somewhere I'd found pics of him and his weapon, but I can't seem to find them anymore. Oh well, not like he actually looks any different. He's just red.

Man, why did it take me so long to find this thread? I love Kamen Rider, especially Den-O and Agito. I'd love to own some Joescale Riders.... I gotta search for these once Convention Season starts anew for me in March.

Small update. I just checked HLJ and it looks like series 3 is a go. No clue who is in it, but I'm putting my money on it including Riders Sasword and Drake from Kabuto and probably Den-O's climax and Liner forms. If Climax is in it, it'll probably be the chase. And if we're lucky, it'll have some figures from Kamen Rider: The Next included.

well, I just found out who is in the next wave. No Kamen Rider: The Next figures.
However, I was at least right about Liner form and the final two riders from Kabuto; Drake and Sasword.

So, here's who will be in wave 3:
-Den-O final Form(Liner, I do believe)
-Zeronos Final Form(not sure if this is Zero Form or if he gets a totally different final form)
-Gaoh (weird looking villain rider from the Den-O movie and so far, the only poseable figure of him)
-Sasword(from Kabuto)
-Drake(also from Kabuto)
-Hibiki(from Kamen Rider Hibiki)
-Secret(probably Hibiki Kurenai form. basically he's just a red repaint)

I gotta say, I'm really surprised about Hibiki being included in there. It looks kind of like they're working backwards in the order of the shows. This assortment will finish off Den-O, the current series(though apparently lacking Climax form) as well as Kabuto, which came before Den-O, even though the line is lacking their armored up forms and the hyper modes. So, if the line continues, it'll probably include more of the Riders from Hibiki, which I honestly could care less about unless they've got the guys from the movie. I'd rather see them skip Hibiki and do Faiz and The Next myself. Maybe throw in some Shocker soldiers while they're at it.

Well, HLJ is sending me wave 2 as I type, they've got wave 3 set for Preorder in a couple weeks, and I just scarfed wave 1 off ebay. $45 for 7 figs comes out to about $6 for each, which is a decent-enough price for how keen these seem to be.

Hot damn! I got the wave 1 set I won off ebay! Woot!

These figs are easily amongst the finest 18th figs I've ever gotten. They've got nearly Micro-levels of articulation, but none of their design weak points. The plastic's a much sturdier type and they've widened the elbow and knee pieces.

The paint apps on all 7 figs are flawless, not one jot of overspray anywhere I've looked. The only 'real' negative I can find is that I'd prefer the ankle joint go down into the foot instead of up into the calf. I would have preferred ankle holes so they could be placed on stand and more accessories (altho some come with extra hands and larger more involved weapons), but those can't be qualified as legitimate complaints as they're only meant to be gashapon and the characters may not have any extra weapons or accessories.

Glad you liked them AV. If I can spread the Kamen Rider love around, that'll make my day. I'd also recommend tracking down Kamen Rider Agito if you want to get a feel for the shows or just see a really kick ass show in general.

Agito is downright awesome. G3-X has the coolest weapons since Riderman from V3.

Okay, fellas; since y'all are in the know. Based on wave 1, we got 6 diff sculpted figs with a repaint of one and a repack of one for a total of 8 in the case. Taking this pic of wave 2:


Which one is likely to be the repack and which one will get the repaint? I'm hoping the Hornet guy gets both and the repaint is black-n-green so I can have a Green Hornet II in my AsunderVerse, lol. I fear it may be the last guy in the bottom right corner, tho. His design is easily the wonkiest of the bunch. I think he'll be the guy that gets hacked up for a custom.

from what I've heard, the chase for wave 2 is actually going to be an all new sculpt. I don't know if there's any truth to it right now, but supposedly Momtaros (this guy http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN950007 ) will be the chase figure. He possesses the main character in the show whenever Den-o is in Sword Form. Makes me very curious as to who is going to be the chase in wave 3 if Momotaros is the wave 2 chase.

And while a green repaint of Zabee would be pretty cool, I don't think we'll see one. From the looks of things, the repaints will only be ones featured in the show and in Kabuto's case, Dark Kabuto was the only repainted costume.
