I was at TRU today and they didn't have the figures, but they did have some non-figure stuff (kid's costumes, accessories, etc). Also, FYI, they had that Hulkbuster 3-pack (with the clapping Hulk and the Steel Brigade helmeted guys) for $15, if anyone is still wanting some of those.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the eventual HUGE display space TRU is certain to give Joe! Hard to believe it's almost finally here. My wallet groans! I'm gonna try to stay selective :shifty:

TRU has 3 of them on their site ready to ship for $7.99 a figure. I won't pick up any until they're in store and at a lower price. If enough of us won't pay $8 a figure they'll get them to at least the $6 and something range. It'll probably end up like the He-Man figures though where people can't wait to spend $20 a figure and we'll all have to just buckle if we want them.

Well so far...
TRU has their singles at $7.99 in store too.
Walmart $7.88
Target online says $6.99 that was the current price.
I'm assuming KMart will mark them as much as Star Wars which is $8.99.
Meijer usually has higher prices so they could be the same as TRU $7.99. Mine still is trying to get rid of those DTC-like singles without accessories.

There are 2 Covergirls in the case. Hey Goldbug, which Illinois TRU did you see these at?

I found them at the Target in Cornelius, NC at 12:30pm today. They've got an endcap full of them. The figures are $7.99, alpha class vehicles are $15.99, the bravo class are $24.99 and the PIT was on the bottom shelf for $99.00.
I picked up Storm Shadow, Duke (desert), Baroness, and SE. They also had the following: Heavy Duty, Shipwreck, Zartan, Sgt. Stone, Deep Six, CoverGirl, Scarlett (grey camo), Neo-Viper, Destro, and Ripcord (react. armor). The Scarlett and CG paint apps were off so I passed on those. Gonna really have to look over the figures to get one with decent paint applications.
Start hitting the Target stores...

I'm really wondering if TRU will take off their Transformers display in the entrance of their stores (here anyways) in favor of GI Joe. With the TF movie still going strong, they'll probably wait another month...

I am thinking not, and Joe takes second seat to TF

Saw them at Target today, looked at them and put them back where I found them. I'll wait for the sale.

I don't know why everyone is so sure there will be a massive clearance on these, or even a sale. They won't last that long on the shelves. Even several people who were flatout against these figures when they were first starting to pop up have changed their tune. These are going to sell, and they're going to sell well, just like 25th. Yes, I know of the reports of massive clearances of 25th, but it really didn't sound like it was country-wide and it was only at Target. Even if they don't sell out, I still see Iron Man figures at some stores and those have never even put on sale around here.
