I'm a collector first, customizer second, although I have slowed down on doing customs. Star Wars & GI Joe have always been my favorite lines, but the Marvel & DC 3 3/4 figures are part of my collecting, as well as other 1/18 lines. Never customized SW as I've been pretty pleased with what has been offered, same with the MU line. DC is getting a little better, so that's slowed down my need to customize DC charcters.

Same with Joe's, been pretty happy with their offereings, so if I do customize Joe's, it's for my personal Joe verse. Now when sales happen, that's when I will stock up on fodder to customize later on down the line and with places like Broken Arrow & Trigate offering parts for customizers, that keeps me in the customizing game, otherwise I would probably would be totaly out of the customizing game. But having my "toy budget", that I follow pretty well, also detemines if I spend more on fodder or for collecting the newest offerings.
