I've started seeing their 5in stuff at TRU, and Who's following over here only seems to be increasing, so there may be a better chance of those seeing retail here than we think. If they do hit retail here, I'll get some for fodder at the very least.

Very promising ideed. I expect to get a fair amount of bashable fodder at least. Unless they surprise in the way the Hobbit figs do, I would doubt they'd be completely what I'd want right out of the package. Luckily I have some of Asphalt's Doctor heads too, so this could be cool.

Dude, with your mastery of styrene and fix-it sculpt, I seriously doubt a toy company could make a better K-9 than you could...

Possibly, but I'd like to have one, before I die.

Yeah, yeah; Doctors, whatevs. The real news will be in which Companions are coming. Leela and her action bikini, Peri and her action big round ass; oh yeah, baby. That's the real news, yo.

I have my fingers crossed to get figures of Donna and her Grandfather.

This. Doctor Donna and Wilf just need to happen. Especially if Wilf comes with a telescope and an old service revolver.

We got his head in Joe. Just bash one. ;)

As far as what we get, if it actually crosses over here to America, then it will be:
Technicolor Daleks
Rory in street clothes
Rory in Centurion garb
Amy in street clothes
Amy pregnant
Goo-Amy
etc. etc.
Why so pessimistic? Because that's what they'll think the public wants.

Oh, beans. I definitely want a 1/18 scale Sonic Screwdriver, and definitely a Laser Screwdriver. Maybe even the Victorian one.

Someone posted a pic of the 2010 version, using it as a lightsaber hilt.

He's going to be awesome as The Governor, I think. /hijack

I do want Who toys, though, and while I scoff at what the offerings will probably be, I'll also snatch them if they're even halfway decent and available.

I doubt that. If it does get released here it will only be a niche toyline. Something you probably wont be able to find everywhere. Likely mostly in specialty shops. Lines like that aren't as constrained by retailer whims like GIJoe is.

ABOUT F*#%!*G TIME!!
i ONLY collect 3 3/4" - 1:18 scale stuff and have been frustrated for how many years now that i have to look at these lame 5" scale figures that are of no use to me. i have about 15 of the 80s dapol figures and would love to add to them.

Don't hold me to this, but this is an unconfirmed pic of the prototype 1:18 figures of Matt Smith and a bronze new-series Dalek:

If so, I'm all up in them Daleks. Doc's arms and torso are too lanky and spindly.

The good thing is that is actually the correct height for one of those little balls of hate. I have seen hem at exhibitions. They are quite small.
