I guess if this lawsuit is successful we are seeing the most rare exclusive ever and I will never own any of it.

I got 5th row in 1993 in a lottery situation at a music store. It could happen. I was going to post a picture of my ticket stub but age wasn't kind to it. You can still read "Pearl Jam" but not the year or the seat location. Oh well, I know it happened. :)

Lets hope you're right. With the 'club' you know there won't be any transparency with the lottery.

Well I just went ahead and bought a loose Jetfire off ebay. All this lawsuit mess makes me think I'm never getting one through normal channels. Not as bad as I thought it would be. $80 shipped. Considering I was willing to pay $100, I guess its not that bad.

While I'm not a member, I think it's a nice perk for the members of the Club to have access to the SDCC exclusives.
The lottery is probably a way to prevent a rush of people on their weak system.

For transparency, they should film the draw and put it on Youtube or something.

No offense, but a person in a support call center most likely wasn't given that information. And certainly not to give out to customers. If the lawsuit were truly an issue the club wouldn't be selling them at all.

You're assuming the Club has any idea what Youtube is or how to put a video online. Remember this is the same organization that up until a couple years ago still relied on a single fax machine to receive convention registration forms.

Actually I'm sure they were. They have to be prepared for call in orders.

They would just be instructed to say the item is not available. They are under no obligation to say WHY. No call center person is going to be permitted to discuss anything to do with any type of lawsuit.
