Yeah, this. I like the design of the toys (although that "normal" hand IS odd), but I have little use for reboots. We'll see.

9 PoA. Looks like they'll have ball jointed head, shoulders, elbows and knees. Not sure if the thighs are ball jointed or just swivel.

My guess is they are going with the human hands and visible face so they can avoid and C&D letters from Marvel. He looks too much like Ironman, but with the flesh exposed the toy maker can say, "He's not Ironman, he's got real hands..." and give other reasons why.

Pretty sure that's because of a "robots can't shoot" macguffin in the movie. If he has a human hand and brain, he's technically not a robot. seems kinda dumb to me but...

Fwooshers speculate that it's a marketing ploy; in that, no matter how tough and mean he looks, he always has the human touch.

Yeah, I know; it's so terrible it's no doubt true.

Why is Iron Man wearing a Tron:Legacy helmet?

That's because Frank Miller wrote it and everyone hates Frank Miller! :p j/k

Actually, I like Robo-Kain, except for the part where he's still an addict as a robot part.

Why would Kain's brain lose a chemical addiction simply because it was transferred from his natural body to hardware? If anything, I'd think the raw hunger would increase due to the lack of stimulus from his missing body and now has to feed his former addiction with only what his brain's use of the Nuke can give him and since the brain has no natural sensory neurons he likely doesnt actually feel the bodily rush and just gets the less-satisfying mood change.

These are out! Picked up both versions at TRU for 7.99 each. I was on the way into work so I won't be able to crack these open until tomorrow night
