So that was it?

If that is it other than what will be at SDCC, than it is very disappointing.

Disappointing is becoming a habit when it comes to Joe collecting. Much more of this, and I'm calling quits.

You've lasted longer at it than Hasbro has, man.

I give credit to TRU. They announced the on sale date and time and their servers handled the traffic without any problems. They also limited quantities to 1 per customer. Sure, the total quantities didn't seem to be enough, but that was expected. It lasted 45 minutes. HTS exclusives never lasted 45 seconds it seemed. I got my set so I am happy.

Me too. They better get some to the stores.

Just read on Hisstank that someone reported the GI Joe exclusive is already gone at the convention. So, what's that, double hearsay? If that is true, this thing did not get very many produced, unless for some reason they are holding back another production run to sell in stores or something.

Ditto.

Seeing that BBTS has not been able to order more of their pre-sold out stuff, and the CC exclusive is sold out in both stores and the Con, I do not have high hopes for a high production run.

The good news is that it tells Hasbro that there is still a strong GI Joe collector base.
Distribution nightmare aside, if the 50th line sales are good it might have the same effect as for the 25th line and spawn a whole new line.

That's a good way to look at it. The 25th was originally only going to be the two five-packs, correct?

There always has been a strong collector base. It isn't our fault that they screw up distribution--there's only so many RoC wave 1 Destros and Retaliation wave 1 Roadblocks one person can stand to own. But I agree, this shows people still want the product. I only wish Hasbro cared about that.

I also got my shipping notice already. Very surprised at that.

I received my set today. Have not had time to mess with it yet since I've been working. Happy to report that Flint's eyes are mostly normal. Was a little worried after seeing some of the other samples. I can post pictures later if no one else does.

I received mine today as well, my Flint has normal eyebrows, but his left forearm skin tone is horrific. I'm not even gonna open it I don't think.
