Ages of Action, new historical line from Unimax . . .

A member over at Hisstank contacted them. One member heard a rumor that the BBI molds for the Blackhawk & Apache Copters, were gonna be turned over to FOV guys. So another memeber contacted the company to see when/if this was true and got a response that the company won't be doing those copters, because they are too big.

They didn't say anything about those, they're all part of the same company. Here's the e-mail that was sent,

A) Looks like we're jumping the gun on these as http://www.AGESOFACTION.com isn't a working website yet. Looks like somebody's squatting on it or something.

B) I'd buy every last one of these at least 3 times over, and any more they want to do like some Aztec or Maori or Hindu or Zulu or Pictish or...

C) Huh, a ninja in black. Who woulda thunk we'd ever see anything as crazy as that?

The AoA knights would make for some interesting Destro ancestral customs. Samurai is excellent. Now I won't have to sacrifice anymore Budos.

As for the Roman Legionary, that would make for some nice Vorenus and Pullo customs from HBO's Rome.

As for the Stryker, it does look really nice. It makes for a nice alternative to the Elite Force LAV that was released already.

The historical set is really cool, haven't been to crazy about their troopers since I have Joes to compare them to but as the only place out there making them at this scale and with articulation the historical figures are cooler than cool. Looking like some nice time machine madness for GI Joe and Cobra some time soon.

Biggie for me though is the Stryker. I've got the Bradley they put out and even though you can't open the drivers hatch I still love the thing. Might end up getting several of the Strykers if they are built as tough as they built the Bradley. Will be something nice for my Joes to ride into battle in.

Really cool that a company is making stuff that will be cool to go along with our Joes and Cobras rather than being a rip off of GI Joe and Cobra, although sadly Cobra doesn't get ripped off enough.

Amen to that. I'd love to see a line of generic bad guys.

My only complaint with these is that they have craptacular waist and hip movement. But for something so unique I can overlook it

These guys are simply amazing. Much better articulation than i thought (They've got ankles! IMO, one of the most important joints), removable helmets, a nice assortment of weapons. This is what a toy line should be.

They're gonna be getting a ton of money from me in the future.

If I can find these (online or locally) I will sooo be investing some mucho bucks into them--right now my whole queue of fantasy custom ideas is somewhat stymied by a lack of chain mail or other armors to give the characters the right look. These guys will nicely fulfill that.

Locally I've seen the modern FOV and WWII FOV figures so here's crossing my fingers I see these too. :-D

That might be true, since Ive only seen the Bradley, Abrams, and first & second run Forces of valor figures in Target.
