I don't think housecats work with Joes or Cobra's. "Stop right there, Mutt, or my vicious kitty will tear your Junkyard apart!" :-/
Nah, a soldier with a cat woud be kinda sissy.

WARNING

This clip could be hard to watch if you love animals especially cats. I was disturbed by it when I watched the show. However, I do want to say its a work of fiction.

That being said, here's Cabanajack.

I prefer cats to dogs. They don't bark, they generally don't smell as bad as dogs, they clean themselves better, and they poop in a box instead of the carpet or letting them outside all the time.

I love the "LASER BLAST". :shifty:

Cabanajack was my hero, but now he's even MORE my hero.

One less cat in the world is a good start.

When you have a dog, you have a friend for life.

When you have a cat, you have a box full of "LASER BLAST".

When I was a kid, I had a cat who was my best friend - Muff (my Dad named her - I guess they didn't want kids calling her ""LASER BLAST"" or something). But she acted more like a dog - she'd follow me for walks in the woods, wait for me at the bus stop, hell - one time she even got into a scrap with a fox during one of our hikes to protect me (didn't know foxes barked - it was a freaky experience), she'd fetch stuff and she'd "LASER BLAST" up any neighbor dogs that came in the yard. After I left for the Army, she'd spend all of her time looking for me and when I would come home on leave she wouldn't leave my side. Conversely, all of our dogs were idiots and couldn't come close to Muff's loyalty or intelligence. I've never found another cat as cool as she was.

Now I have an Australian Shepherd, Hondo -- and he's just about the best damn dog on the planet. We also have two cats, and you know what? "LASER BLAST" cats - they suck. Dogs rock :D

All the cats I've had have been very loyal and friendly. The trick is to raise them from when they are really young ( I had one that I would have to put outside if I brought a girlfriend home as the cat would get in my lap or inbetween us all the time and even hissed at a couple of girls. My cat had good instincts though as those girls didn't stick around long and I was glad to see them go.). Also if you earn the respect of an adult cat you have friend for life.
A good cat to use with Joes is the Stikfas jungle cat. Good scale matching (except for Tigers, Lions and Ligers) and great articulation. Not as realistic looking as some of the ones mentioned earlier so it just depends on what you are looking for.

that's a great story betabob... my cat is kind of like that as well. He doesn't like many people, he hisses and nips at them, follows me around to every room I'm in.
When my now wife came over the first time, the cat sniffed her, then hopped on the couch and just hung around, and eventually laid down right next to her. Never, ever has it done that before. I've had the cat since it was a kitten.

Cats pretty much just do what they want. You try to bring one into a firefight and it's just going to look at you funny and run the other way.

Browsing though TRU today, one of the golden compass figs came with two cats, and they are marked down to about 3 bucks
