Arctic Snake Eyes- Looks good, but I'm not a real big fan of arctic figures. Looks just like he did in issue #2.

Wait. Snowy Snakes is in this wave? I thought it was the '89 redo that was in this wave, not Snowy Snakes. Crap. I wanted that figure.

I found a bunch of this wave today (sans Snowy Snakes). Wallyworld had pegs full of these guys and that one Meijers I mentioned in the "Frustration" thread had the remains of this wave on the pegs.

I didn't buy the whole wave, but I got a good look at a few of them. I was surprised at how much I liked the HISS Driver in person -- that's one great figure. And, well, I'm a sucker for TF and PP figures. :-)

Sounds like you are talking about wave 7, the one I found was the next one, complete with Snowy Snakes. I found wave 8 before I've seen most of wave 7.

OK, this is just ridiculous! I got my wave 7 last week in the mail from BBTS. I saw 1 viper at retail. Now, I see wave 8 is out but yet...I have yet to get my wave 8 from BBTS.

Nice PJs by the way

Did wave 7 or 8 have the blue Baroness / CC figures in them?

I'm looking at the EE listing and it seems like I saw a mix of the two waves. PP Troopers, TF Flint, Vipers, Baroness, CC, Wild Bill, '89 Snakes, Spirit, and HISS Drivers. These were full pegs, so they'd just been put out.

Man, it's getting confusing to keep track of this stuff.

8 had the blue Barnoss and Cobra Commander. The CC is just a slight bit darker blue than the first one that came out, in fact I thought he was the old version. I didnlt buy him because the only difference I saw was the silver stripe on his battle helmet and the mass device crystals.

Ah. So it was a mix then.

Those were Mass crystals? I thought it was some type of brain in a jar. Heh.

Even though I don't buy them all, it was so great to walk into a store and see 25th stuff in stock. Being able to see and actually hold a figure before I buy it is so much more appealing than sight unseen online.

Forgot to mention that I found these in Wal-Mart in Tucson, AZ two nights ago. Well, what was left of the wave. Just happened to be the ones I wanted though (Tiger Force Flint and Major Bludd). They also had Cobra Commander with the Crystal things but I passed since I obviously don't know what the crystal is and I don't need another Cobra Commander to get said crystal.

Flint and Bludd are awesome. Flint's hands come off kind of easily but he is molded in flesh colored plastic now. Bludd's ninja turtle arm isn't that weird and his head is nice. His helmet doesn't come off...well it does; but it's like Zartan's hair. Big slit in his head. His accessories are bomb though. Missiles coming off his backpack and gun. They are a little finicky to get to stay on though, so I imagine a lot of people will be losing these.

It was weird to find them though as we don't usually get anything in Tucson until a good week after Phoenix.

Target in Tucson today had both Wave 7 and 8 on the shelves - 2 boxes each. Unfortunately, no comic packs.

This might actually be the straw that breaks the camel's back for me - No target vehicles to be found and no wave 7 - now wave 8 is out. :-/ Way to go hasblo

Just to clarify, the Viper was released on a 25A card in wave 7 and again in wave 8 but on a "Cartoon series" card, right?

Both waves were released here today. Among the wave 8 figures, it seems like Bludd might be the only one worth picking up right now.

Are we going to get a "fixed arms" Flint in classic colors? Or do I have to learn how to transplant arms? Because I can't get the 25A torsos opened (no, I can't get the wooden block method to work).

Yup, the Viper was originally released on the 25th Ann logo card in Wave 3 (7) and then released with the Cartoon logo in Wave 4 (8).

It's almost a certainty that we'll get a fixed arms Flint in his classic colors somewhere down the line.

Shocka: Fishkill, NY Walmart had FULL pegs of both Wave 7 & 8. I nearly passed out.
I just got the Blue Baroness, and she has fixed articulation!

What articulation was fixed? My wave 8 Baroness looks the same as the box set one - minus the bowleggedness.

The Python Officer does have a fixed crotch, Cobra Commander does not.

From what I've seen firsthand, and what it sounds like on here, W-M's are getting wave 7 and 8 cases, but wave 8 does not seem to be showing up elsewhere, yet. No need to panic, wave 7 and 8 will hit the other stores too!

Got my wave 8 yesterday and they are good figures. One of the weaker assortment though.

I have the same feelings that I had with wave 2: Why can't I have the next wave instead since wave 9 looks so awesome :-P
