Ugh. Now I want one of those harvesters. Hopefully, they will hit somewhere in the US. I certainly don't want to have to ship that thing and I bet it would be a lot less than what EE wants for it. But these don't seem to be a hit anywhere around here. Target has them on clearance, TRU is stocked with pegs to capacity, and Wal-Mart never got the 3 3/4" ones in stock.

Yeah, I broke down and ordered some Harvesters from EE.
Just in case they get a limited release and are a [LASER BLAST] to find, at least I know (if they do get released) that I got the ones I want on order.

Shipping wasn't too bad either. FedEx shipping on 4 of them was only around $24.

Looks like the picture EE has on their website makes it look bigger than it really is, though.

I'm not surprised, seeing how they just photoshopped Marcus and Common's stock photos onto a picture of the Harvester.

I got a couple of the Harvesters today...

It's actaully a little bigger than I expected it to be.
Pretty well articulated too, I counted 30+ POA not including the action feature hands or weapon mount.

The action features are limited, and well done. When you push the bottons on the top of the forearms, they open the main hands, and when you let off the buttons, they close again. The cannon mount can flip down to the back, and when you press down on the head the cannon flips up. When you pres the button on the chest it lights up the four search lights on either side of the head.
That's pretty much it for action features.

I absolutely love this toy, and I am very happy that it actually got released.

Online.
Aside from TRU, no stores here even have any Terminator stuff left.

BBTS has a few left in stock, and it looks like they are expecting 40 more at some point.

I had pre-orders with EE and BBTS, waiting to see who got it first (or at all). BBTS won, so I cancelled my order through EE. BBTS was like $1 cheaper anyway.

There are these fin-type things on the back of the legs, that are two per leg. With the slim 3/4"-1" gap in between them, it really makes me wonder if the Moto-Terminators can actually be hooked on to them or not.

Maybe if Marcus gets a break from his celebrity appearances, he can check it, since they actually got the Moto-Terminators over there.

I just bought a terminator I haven't seen before on ebay. Then I got these images and am a little confused.

The one I got seems to be the T-600 endoskeleton. I was hoping it was the T-700 since (according to the concept art shown on the blu-ray) the height and build of the toy was wrong. But seeing it there in the package, it must be the T-600.

What is the deal? Were these european releases with the mototerminator? At first they look like a good way of packing 2 figures together and selling them bundled. There definitely seemed to be a large surplus of these, so that would make sense.

But then John Connor has a new head that is just like the 8" figure (while the body is the 3 3/4"). In fact, I don't think any of these are the same as the 3 3/4".

I suppose they could be the larger scale in huge packages, but they aren't the same as the 8" figures either.

So confused...

EDIT:

The auction title lists these as 3.75". Then the description says they are about 3" then in another spot says they are 3.75".

He looks less detailed (if that is possible!) and less articulated. Maybe these are smaller? Was there a 3" scale released somewhere?

Whoa, very interesting. It looks like Marcus and the human-fleshed T-600 have new head sculpts.

I've seen these at Family Dollar. They are MINI FIGURES, maybe 2 inches high give or take. Their package is teeny even. No joke. The auction is either lying or there's some larger versions out there. My guess is they got it wrong.

Yes, that's right...Playmates actually did 4 different scales of Terminator Salvation figures.

Which raises the question: How the #&$% did Playmates get a better likeness of Sam Worthington at a smaller scale than the 3 3/4" figures?

Ha! That is a good point. I guess I will have to stop by Family Dollar to see if I can find these. They actually don't look too bad and might be fun if the price is right. Do you recall how much they were?
