Thor doesn't surprise me. They invested a lot in that unique tooling and they need to get their money out of it. This is the SDCC ML Thor deco (minus the all white eyes).

I thought that Cap had already been released? Isn't it the same one that came out about the same time as Bucky?

Darker blue and brighter reds. The one currently on shelves looks more . . . faded I guess.

It's a brighter blue (looks the same as the Secret Wars Cap blue). I was actually hoping they'd do this but with the original red/blue rings shield design. I also hoped they'd re-release Bucky with yellow collar.

Thor's hammer looks pretty sharp, but otherwise, I don't give a crap about either of them.

While I agree, that Thor figure has/will see about 6 releases since it originally came out. That's a bit too much, IMO.

Had a pretty good find at Target the other day. It's been a long time since I've been able to say that.

My older son picked up a Darkhawk figure, which is a lot cooler than I thought it would be. I might pick one up if I ever see another one in the store.
My younger son found a Destroyer Armor figure from the Thor movie line, and I grabbed the new Magneto.

I really like the new Magneto figure, but I may have to do something about his belt. I don't mind the way it looks, but it kind of bugs me that it is exactly the same as the AIM Trooper's belt.

They also had Namor, Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, Ultron, Iceman, Astonishing Wolverine, and a few others.
I was pretty shocked to see so many new figures at once.

I might actually get that repainted Cap if it matches the Secret Wars colors just to get a proper belt for my 616 Cap.

Now that I have an X-23 figure in-hand, I can see why some of you have expressed yuor hope it does not become the standard female buck for the line. It has so much potential, but it is truly flawed. Had they made the legs proportionate to the torso, it would be one of the best figs ever. Sure, she'd be small next to other figures from the line, but would make for a great teen hero figure, or civilian (MJ, etc...). But the legs are so crazy as it is. even chopping them down leaves her a bit weird looking.

Sadly, because the torso is so narrow, you also can't really sub-in Ms. Marvel legs without her looking all thunder-thighed.

But, I do still like the figure I'm making using her parts. So it's not a complaint from a customizer's perspective. Just hoping they go back and re-do the legs with some future figure in the line.

Yeah.. she's kind of mess and was clearly a mess from the moment we saw her... I never understood people who thought her proportions were fine. You can't even get a good range of movement from her legs because the hips are too small for the upper legs. I've had an easier time messing around with the ball sockets on the movie figures.
